Miami commit Kai Trump teams up with TaylorMade for NIL endorsement deal

Kai Trump is the newest member of Team TaylorMade.

The Benjamin School junior took to Instagram to announce her partnership on Saturday. In a video filmed at The Kingdom, TaylorMade’s custom fitting center in Carlsbad, California, Trump stated, “What’s up, guys? It’s Kai Trump and I’m officially partnering up with Team TaylorMade.”

With 5.4 million followers and a $2 million Golf NIL valuation, the move is a major step for the 17-year-old, who is actively building her stable of NIL partners. In December, Leaf Trading Cards unveiled the "Kai Trump Autograph Pack," a new collaboration between the future Miami Hurricane and the collectibles brand, the first of its kind in golf's NIL era.

Trump joins a lineup of elite juniors signed to TaylorMade's NIL roster, including Asterisk Talley, Miles Russell, and Kris Kim—all top 10 athletes in Golf NIL's High School Rankings.

While this marks a significant move for Trump, this isn't her first partnership with a leading equipment label. Prior to joining TaylorMade, she was previously with Callaway as part of their Callaway NEXT amateur development program.

Timing of the announcement begs to question Trump's next move. She shared the news just a day before arriving with Tiger Woods at the Genesis Invitational, an event hosted by the famed golfer, who also happens to be a TaylorMade partner.

The mega influencer donned a sweatshirt from Woods' Sun Day Red brand—a brand she was first spotted wearing in October. With the lifestyle label recently beefing up its women's apparel line with a look that appears to align with Trump's style, it wouldn't be surprising if she became Sun Day Red's next NIL ambassador.
