Citing Golf NIL Valuations and rankings
When referring to a Golf NIL Valuation or ranking, identify Golf NIL as the source. Because valuations and rankings can change, please confirm the most current applicable edition or update before publication. Current editions and updates appear at the top of each rankings page and above the Golf NIL™ Top 10 on the home page.

A citation should identify the athlete, published valuation or ranking, relevant board or athlete category, Golf NIL as the source, and the applicable rankings edition or update.
Understanding Golf NIL Valuations and rankings
A Golf NIL Valuation estimates a player’s NIL marketing potential. It is not a statement of a player’s total realized NIL earnings, net worth, or guaranteed future compensation. It does not predict athletic performance or professional success.
We welcome accurate reporting, discussion, and clearly labeled third-party commentary about published valuations and rankings. That commentary may address publicly available information and observable developments involving a player. However, it should not be presented as an authoritative explanation of how a particular Golf NIL Valuation or ranking was determined, or of the proprietary Golf VMS.
Golf NIL is the only source for an authoritative explanation of its proprietary methodology and the basis for its published valuations and rankings.
Golf NIL methodology and official sources
Development of Golf NIL’s valuation model began in 2023. Over the following year, Golf NIL built and stress-tested the model before publishing its first valuations in 2024. That work became the Golf VMS, the proprietary, golf-specific system behind Golf NIL Valuations and rankings.
As the Golf VMS took shape, Golf NIL defined the six categories at the center of the model and built its approach to selecting, organizing, and applying more than 100 data inputs. Today, the system is used to produce Golf NIL Valuations and rankings.
