Money Moves
With a new $1.75 million Golf NIL Valuation, Jackson Koivun is scripting one of college golf’s most defining stories.
On Sunday, the Auburn junior delivered his best PGA Tour finish yet—a T4 at the Procore Championship—playing in the final group alongside Ben Griffin. That prime spotlight birthed a historic moment: Koivun became the first amateur since Ken Venturi in 1956 to capture three consecutive top-10 finishes on the PGA Tour, while at the same time, guaranteeing major Sunday coverage and drawing headlines from top outlets. The Sports Business Journal reported 441,000 viewers tuned in for the final round, giving Koivun and his partners beyond Auburn University (yes, he wears the logo by choice) massive exposure.
Coming off a clutch performance at the 2025 Walker Cup, Koivun’s consistency and high-profile play keep raising his stock. As the world’s top-ranked amateur and Golf NIL College Men’s Rankings leader, he’s proving to be a reliable draw for sponsors, tournament hosts, and fans. His latest partner, Omni Hotels, joins an alliance of respected brands that include Betterment, Titleist, FootJoy, and Old Republic Insurance.
Michael La Sasso takes back the No. 2 spot in the Golf NIL College Men’s Rankings—fueled by a newly minted $750K Golf NIL Valuation and momentum few in college golf can match.
La Sasso checks every box: reigning NCAA champ, member of the winning U.S. Walker Cup team, and now officially World No. 9. Behind him? Five PGA Tour starts this season alone, including a U.S. Open appearance and a Masters debut coming next spring.
But what sets La Sasso apart is his marketing muscle off the tee. He’s one of the most followed players in college golf, topping 60,000 Instagram followers and regularly racking up 5,000 to 20,000 likes per post. Breezy Golf just joined his sponsorship lineup, tapping into La Sasso’s reach to launch new drops while giving him a megaphone to their 1.4 million Instagram followers.
Major Moves
Gianna Clemente’s solo second-place finish at the Epson Tour’s Guardian Championship capped off a strong run for the 17-year-old Estero, Fla. native, bumping her up to the No. 3 spot in the Golf NIL High School Girls Rankings. The 2024 AJGA Player of the Year forced a five-hole playoff before falling to Melanie Green, delivering her best professional result to date.
With multiple LPGA appearances, including the Chevron Championship where she earned low amateur honors, and the Evian Championship, Clemente ranks 24th in the World Amateur Golf Rankings. She also holds three LPGA LEAP points, the second most of any high school player. Represented by WME Sports, Clemente’s NIL partners include Amundi, Titleist, FootJoy, ShopRite, and The Gate Golf Club.
The three-time Augusta National Women’s Amateur competitor and U.S. National Development team member is embracing the opportunity to test herself at every level of competition as an amateur, while still having the option of playing collegiate golf.
With revenue-sharing now in place and the LPGA expanding clear pro pathways, college now offers prospects a real chance to earn, compete, and fast-track their way to the LPGA Tour—without sacrificing education or exposure. That trend is already showing up in players like top-ranked junior Asterisk Talley recently announced her commitment to Stanford, opting for the college route over turning professional out of high school.

Marie Madsen is rewriting NC State's record books. The Danish sophomore opened her 2025 season with a win at the Cougar Classic, breaking the 54-hole school record and notching her third collegiate career title.
Ranked 25th in the world and backed by Titleist, Madsen joins the Golf NIL College Women's Rankings at No. 25.
A member of the Danish National Team, she represented Europe at the Vagliano Trophy in June 2025—her second European team appearance after competing in the Patsy Hankins Trophy earlier this year. Madsen also reached the quarterfinals of the 2025 Women's Amateur Championship and claimed a T6 at the Ladies European Tour’s Q-Tour Himmerland.
