Three brands were part of the trip to Scotland for No. 10 Texas women’s golf at the St. Andrews Links Collegiate Tournament. Texas came home with the team title. The brands had a place in the week, too.

Texas One Water, a Texas-branded bottled water tied to the Longhorn brand, was featured with the team at St. Andrews. Golf NIL College Women’s No. 32 McDonald-O’Brien, Amy Lee, Anastasia Hekkonen, Selina Liao, and Vivian Lu posed with the product on the iconic Swilcan Bridge on 18.

Zilker Belts was part of the Scotland content as well. The Austin-based brand has partnered with Texas One on the Zilker Belts x Texas One belt, a style designed to support UT athletes directly. McDonald-O'Brien, Lu, Lee, and Hekkonen were among the Longhorns tied to the collaboration.

Sports apparel and fan-gear retailer Rally House was another brand tied to the trip, with Golf NIL College Women’s No. 22 Charlotte Naughton and Kim promoting it.

Texas made the trip count, dominating stroke play and finishing the two-round format 23 strokes ahead of the field. Golf NIL College Women’s No. 5 Farah O’Keefe and Washington's Hannah Ounap shared co-medalist honors at 2-under, with O’Keefe claiming her seventh career win and moving into second on Texas’s all-time career wins list. All six Longhorns finished in the top 15, five in the top 10. In the championship match, Texas defeated the University of St. Andrews 5-1.

The Scotland trip fits a broader pattern at Texas.

Earlier this year, O’Keefe and Tommy Morrison were among 16 Longhorns selected for Nike’s Blue Ribbon Elite program. O’Keefe was also named to Huntington Bank’s inaugural collegiate golf ambassador roster in March, joining a program that backs some of the game’s top players, including Golf NIL College Men’s No. 1 Preston Stout and No. 5 Ethan Fang (both Oklahoma State), and No. 7 Mason Howell (Georgia).

Texas expanded its NIL operation in 2025 by launching the Longhorn Sports Agency with Learfield, giving athletes across all sports more access to deals, content, and brand support. Texas One has since taken on a different role. The group, which launched in 2022 as the school’s primary NIL collective, now serves as the Official Fan Subscription Service of Texas Athletics and works with brands on campaigns tied to Longhorn athletes and fans.
