Tommy Morrison and Farah O'Keefe are adding a new name to their brand rosters — and it's the biggest retailer in sports. The two Longhorn golfers are among 16 Texas athletes selected for Nike's new Blue Ribbon Elite NIL program, the latest chapter in a 26-year relationship between the brand and the university.

Morrison, a Dallas native and the world's No. 11 amateur, posted on Instagram: "the mission continues #TeamNIKE."

Ranked No. 6 in the Golf NIL College Men's Rankings and No. 9 overall, the Dallas native enters the partnership as a 2025 U.S. Walker Cup team member, a Ben Hogan Award semifinalist, and a six-time top-10 finisher in 2025-26. Morrison has been represented by WME Sports since early 2023, and his NIL sponsors include Callaway, Urban Golf Performance, and Veritex Community Bank, with additional support from the school's Texas One collective.

It may also be a statement of what's ahead. Currently sitting No. 3 in the PGA Tour University Rankings, Morrison is on track to earn Korn Ferry Tour membership through the end of the season, with a PGA TOUR Americas membership to follow. As a college senior, Morrison now has a door open with Nike that could extend into his professional career.

O'Keefe, ranked No. 4 in the world and No. 11 in the Golf NIL College Women's Rankings, has two wins and seven top-10 finishes in 2025-26, including the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate last week and the Therese Hession Regional Challenge in February. She was also part of the U.S. team that won the 2025 Women's World Amateur Team Championship and earned an invitation to the 2026 Curtis Cup practice session at Bel-Air, having served as a Curtis Cup alternate in 2024.

She wrote on Instagram: "From watching the greats wear it to wearing it myself. Just did it. #TeamNIKE."

The timing for the college junior couldn't be more fitting. O'Keefe is set to make her third appearance at the Augusta National Women's Amateur in the coming weeks. She's worn Nike before as a Longhorn, but this time she'll step onto amateur golf's biggest stage with Nike as an NIL partner.

Her other current sponsors include Veritex Community Bank and Arcis Golf.

Blue Ribbon Elite is Nike's entry into the NIL space at scale. Named after Nike's origins as Blue Ribbon Sports, the program brings athletes into marketing campaigns, product development, and creative projects. Morrison and O'Keefe join a roster of roughly 60 elite NIL athletes nationwide.

Nike EVP of Global Sports Marketing Ann Miller said, "By inviting these athletes into the conversation in meaningful ways, the program helps shape the future of college sport and culture. We're deeply proud to partner with the University of Texas, an iconic institution whose legacy and leadership align naturally with an athlete-centered model that reflects where Nike and college athletics are headed."

Texas and Nike's story stretches back to a history-making 15-year, $250 million deal in 2015, and Blue Ribbon Elite is its latest chapter.
