Hamilton Coleman's growing NIL portfolio lands at 2026 U.S. Open

At 18, Hamilton Coleman is one of the youngest players in this week’s 2026 U.S. Open field.

The Augusta, Georgia native and University of Georgia commit earned his way in with a 2&1 win over Nguyen Anh Minh in the 36-hole final of the 2025 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship.

He makes his major championship debut this week with a growing list of brand partners.

Huntington Bank is on his hat. The bank, which recently unveiled Huntington Activation, an NIL and revenue management platform designed to bring structure and financial governance to athlete compensation, announced the new product on LinkedIn.

His other NIL sponsors have included the Georgia State Golf Association, Holderness & Bourne, Foresight Sports, Hudson Sutler, Club Car, and Titleist.

To oversee the growing portfolio, Coleman signed last month with golf management company Hambric Sports. The Texas-based agency represents several big names, including Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson and world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, along with top Golf NIL players also competing this week: College Men's No. 2 Ethan Fang (Oklahoma State), No. 5 Mason Howell (Georgia), No. 14 Arni Sveinsson (LSU) and No. 19 Ryder Cowan (Oklahoma).

Already a member of the Georgia State Team as part of the U.S. National Development Program, he was elevated to the U.S. National Junior Team at the start of 2026. He'll room this fall with Howell, the 2025 U.S. Amateur champion and a fellow Georgia commit.

Coleman tees off Thursday at 6:35 a.m. ET on the 10th hole alongside Chandler Phillips and Harry Higgs.
