Money Moves

Jackson Koivun is back on the professional stage at the Wyndham Championship at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The World No. 1 posted rounds of 68-66 after 36 holes, which concluded Saturday morning following weather delays—a performance that secured additional weekend play. It’s another confident step for the Auburn golfer, who seems to be finding his stride after a T6 at the ISCO Championship and T11 at the John Deere Classic.

The timing couldn't be better for his new sponsors. Old Republic Title debuted as the latest addition to Koivun's lineup at his press conference on Wednesday, while Betterment, a digital investment advisor, joined the roster a few weeks ago, ahead of the ISCO Championship. Along with Titleist, FootJoy, Auburn, and Sunbrella—Wyndham's longtime tournament partner—making the cut this weekend delivers additional television exposure and marketing reach for all six brands.

Koivun ranks No. 1 in the Golf NIL College Men's Rankings and No. 3 overall on the Golf NIL Top 10.

Charlie Woods during the second round of the 2025 Junior PGA Championship | PGA of America

Charlie Woods delivered a top-10 performance at the Junior PGA Championship, finishing T9 after entering the final round tied for second following back-to-back rounds of 6-under 66..

This week brought Woods unprecedented mainstream coverage, rarely seen for a high school golfer, with major outlets like ESPN, Bleacher Report, Yahoo Sports, and CBS Sports tracking his run, amplified by his bid for one of two U.S. Junior Ryder Cup qualifying spots.

The 16-year-old drew national attention wearing apparel from Sun Day Red, his dad Tiger's company, and a hat from The Stable, a fitness training and performance wear label that also benefited from the exposure.

This performance builds on his breakthrough victory at the AJGA’s Team TaylorMade Invitational in May and his steady climb up the junior golf ranks. The AJGA No. 20 now holds a $2.5 million valuation and the No. 1 spot on both the Golf NIL Top 10 and Golf NIL High School Boys boards.

Asterisk Talley, Golf NIL High School Girls No. 2, took home the Junior PGA Championship Girls Division title.

Oregon’s Kiara Romero is officially the new World No. 1. The 2025 Big Ten Golfer of the Year has consistently ranked among the top three in the Golf NIL College Women’s Rankings throughout the 2024-25 school year, before claiming the top spot last week.

Coming off an appearance at the 2025 U.S. Women’s Open, the 19-year-old posted the lowest final-round score by an amateur in the major’s 80-year history. Her new top world ranking also adds an extra LPGA Elite Amateur Pathway (LEAP) point, bringing her total to seven and moving her to the top spot among the amateurs chasing the 20-point threshold for LPGA Tour card eligibility.

A member of the 2025 U.S. Elite Amateur squad, Romero is managed by Excel Sports Management and partners with Nike, Titleist, and Liberty National Golf Club.

Major Moves

Hamilton Coleman moves up six spots in the Golf NIL High School Boys rankings to No. 15 after clinching the 77th U.S. Junior Amateur title—a championship that’s eluded Augusta natives until now. The win secures him exemptions into the 2025 and 2026 U.S. Amateur Championships and sends Coleman straight to the 2026 U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills.

No. 3 in the AJGA rankings, the reigning U.S. Junior Players Championship winner and future Georgia Bulldog steps into his senior year at Lakeside, joining a fraternity of past champions that includes names like Tiger Woods, Scottie Scheffler, and Jordan Spieth. Coleman's win drew national coverage, with the tournament airing on the Golf Channel and Peacock, and final round broadcast on NBC. The USGA showcased his performance to its more than 2.5 million followers across social platforms, featuring a 25-minute YouTube highlight reel of his televised shots, which has surpassed 50,000 views and counting.

With backing from the Georgia State Golf Association, Coleman wore the GSGA’s logo on his hat throughout the tournament, giving the organization valuable exposure as they promoted his progress. This championship follows his first AJGA Wyndham Cup appearance, playing for the winning East team, and a top-five finish at the Dustin Johnson Invitational earlier this year.

This week, Coleman breaks into the top 75 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings, moving up 553 spots to No. 72.
