June 5, 2025First Team Impact is redefining how college athletes approach NIL by championing an “impact-first” model—helping athletes use their NIL earnings to back causes they care about while maximizing personal fulfillment and smart tax advantages. Founded by experts in philanthropy and brand strategy, the organization creates individualized giving plans, guiding athletes to team up with nonprofits, launch their own foundations, and tell authentic stories that cut through the noise with both communities and sponsors. First Team Impact offers tax strategies, compliance support, and long-term planning, showing athletes how even a modest NIL deal can spark real change. The goal: attract purpose-driven sponsors and prove you don’t need a multimillion-dollar contract to make a difference—just the right plan, the right story, and a little support to turn good intentions into lasting impact. June 6, 2025NiJaree Canady just raised the bar—again. Texas Tech’s ace signed her second NIL deal topping $1 million, locking in another seven-figure partnership with the Matador Club collective just hours before pitching Game 3 of the Women’s College World Series finals. Canady, already the first softball player to hit the million-dollar mark, now owns the title twice. She’s delivered every step: 34 wins, a 0.97 ERA, and every pitch thrown for the Red Raiders in Oklahoma City. The timing silences transfer rumors: Canady is staying in Lubbock. Her dominance draws headlines, her brand keeps growing, and even Patrick Mahomes is in the stands. The “Million Dollar Arm” is now a million-dollar brand, twice over, and the spotlight on women’s sports just got a little brighter.
