AROUND NIL THIS WEEK | DEC 9, 2024

Updated: Feb 28

Dec 9, 2024—LSU basketball and rap sensation Flau’jae Johnson has signed a monumental NIL deal with Unrivaled, becoming the second college athlete to do so after UConn’s Paige Bueckers. The deal, granting Johnson an equity stake in the 3-on-3 professional league, positions her for a stellar post-college career.

Although NCAA rules bar Johnson from playing in the league until 2026, she’s already eyeing mentorship from basketball legends while preparing for her WNBA debut. Unrivaled’s inaugural season kicks off January 17, promising to redefine women’s basketball.
